Insulating joint for railway rails

Designated function:
Electrical insulation of one block-area from another one on the continuous welded rail track (on the line sections without equalitarian spans).

Standard set:
— metal-composite fishplate, 2 pcs.
— end insulator, 1 pcs.
— insulating insert, 6 pcs.
— high-strength screw bolts M27, 6 items
— washer, 6 pcs.
— female screw of high-strength M27, 6 items

The main component is a metal-composite fishplate, which consists of metal core, glass-fiber layer and external metal sidewall.

Technical data:
— guaranteed service intensity 300 million tons, gross weight;
— service life not less than 10 years;
— service intensity over the service life up to 1000 million tons, gross weight;
— train speed – up to 200 km/h;
— electrical resistance between rails, not less than 1 kOhm;
— working temperature range -60/+80ºÑ;

Rail types:
— Ð65,
— UIC-60,
— S-60.

Advantages:
1. Full compliance with traffic safety, reliability, and maintenance workability requirements of main-line railways.
2. Considerable reduction of railway tracks maintenance costs.
3. High corrosion resistance and low moisture absorption.
4. Resistance to acids, alkalis, petroleum products, oils, organics.
5. High strength, fatigue properties, cracks resistance and operating durability
