Meshes MCRI glass-reinforced meshes

Produced according to TU RB 390019247.001-2008. These technical requirements cover MCRI glass-reinforced meshes (meshes), and MCRI meshes backed up by heat-resistant paper.

Meshes are designed to reinforce abrasive disks.

MCRI mesh is produced by crossweaving of glass-fibres with subsequent impregnation with phenol-formaldehyde resin modified by plasticizer. By agreement with a customer other types of resin can be used with specified physical-mechanical properties. Mesh backed up by heat-resistant paper is produced by gluing black heat-resistant paper for abrasive disks with mass-area ratio 25 g/m², 30 g/m², 35 g/m² to the MCRI mesh.

All types of meshes are produced in rolls. Roll length – 100…200 m. Mesh roll is packed up in polyethylene film according to the current technical documentation, tied up at both ends and glued by width in three points. Packed mesh rolls are transported vertically. It is possible to transport them on a tray fastened to its base.

An example of the MCRI mesh reference designation for ordering:

Letters and figures in the mesh title refer to the following:
M – mesh;
C – crossweaved;
R – reinforced;
I – impregnated;
250 – mass-area ratio, g/m²
HRP – mesh backed up by heat-resistant paper (for meshes backed up by heat-resistant paper).
