CORROSION RESISTANCE OF COMPOSITES
Composite materials as compared to traditional materials (reinforced concrete, steel, wood) possess a substantially higher resistance to corrosion, aggressive media and chemical reagents. This allows the composites structures to have a long service life without additional maintenance costs.

EXAMPLE FROM «ApATeCH» PRACTICE
In 2002, at the Moscow Ring Highway, comparative tests of composite drainage channels made by «ApATeCh» and standard reinforced concrete channels were started. Two years later, reinforced concrete channels displayed damaged walls, crumbled-out material, broken integrity. Composite channel is in use up to present moment without any visible changes of outward appearance, colour, surface texture and looks like a «new item».
