Low specific weight of structures made of composite materials allows to reduce installation costs significantly.

In the sphere of highway engineering, the costs are reduced at the expense of a possibility to deliver constructions at destination place and install them in assembled or pre-assembled form. Thus, it has taken just 20 minutes to install the span superstructure of pedestrian passage over the Garden Ring close to Smolenskaya square in this way.

In the field of railway infrastructure engineering, the use of ApATeCH drainage channels allowed to reduce the engineering costs per one running meter by more than 3 times.
Heavy-weight equipment is required to install reinforced concrete channels, which are 25 times heavier than composite channels. The use of heavy equipment results in losses due to interruptions in train traffic. Installation of composite channels does not require traffic interruptions, at that, working hours at material handling are reduced by 8 times and those at channel laying are reduced by 3.5 times.

The use of ApATeCH composite deck in pedestrian bridge on the 23rd km of the Highway Leningradkoye enabled to install the structure in one raise, without erection of suspension support and to do so without concrete works. The initial design foresaw concrete pouring of the deck under field conditions, erection of suspension support and two traffic interruptions on the Highway. The use of composite materials allowed to diminish the weight of span elements by 63% and to reduce, already at construction stage, the deck structure costs by 12%.
