ARCHED FOOTBRIDGE

First Russian composite bridge made by vacuum infusion.
Designed for installation in parks, recreation zones, over small rivers and channels

The current project resulted in the development of the product line of the arched bridges for small rivers with the span length 15...30 m and life cycle 100 years. Implementation of vacuum infusion technology gave possibility to reduce manufacture steps, avoid assembling activities and thus decrease the cost of the structure. The production technology used for this bridge provides new possibilities in aesthetic design and creation of new unsual and good-looking forms.

June 18 2008 Installation of first Russian bridge made by vacuum infusion technology

The paper "Development of Modular Arched Bridge Design" (A.E. Ushakov, S.N.Ozerov, S.V.Dubinsky) got the best innovative construction paper award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
